A/V
Developing concepts, writing and pitching scripts — I think this is where I get the most joy. It still blows my mind to see something I’ve written come to life, especially if one of my favorite comic actors or some of the world’s biggest pop stars are the ones saying my lines.
I’ve done spots for high-profile campaigns, national sporting events, and major global competitions. My commercials have been seen on multiple platforms and by millions of people.
I’ve also produced and written nightly on-air promos for a critically acclaimed late-night talk show.
“VSN”
“ESPRESSO DREAM”
“ANONYMOUS”
“A REAL GIFT”
“SAND TRAP”
“IN SYNC”
“RHODES TO PARIS”
“LATE NIGHT WITH SETH MEYERS PROMO”
“LNSM - HILLARY & CHELSEA CLINTON PROMO”
I got my start writing taglines for television and film, and I’m still obsessed with the sweet science of constructing the perfect copy line. It’s always a fun challenge: distill the entire story into one sentence, without saying certain things and being sure to say others, and make sure to do it in a clever or intriguing way that grabs people's attention — oh, and if you can get it down to just three words, that would be perfect.
What’s not to love?
digital/social
The digital and social realm is a great place to play. There’s more room to stretch, experiment, and get weird. But it’s also vital to audience engagement. It shouldn’t just be where ads get repurposed for feeds; it’s a wild, wonderful ecosystem all its own.
